DESCRIPTION
By working in partnership with carers, voluntary organisation and statutory bodies, MECOPP actively seeks to challenge and dismantle barriers that deny Black and Minority Ethnic carers access to health, social work and other social care services in Edinburgh, the Lothians and further afield.
In addition to a range of direct carers support services delivered primarily in Edinburgh and the Lothian’s, MECOPP also provides a complementary service to its statutory and mainstream voluntary sector partners through input into policy, service and workforce development at both a local and Scottish national level.
