DESCRIPTION
The policy of the Trust is to make grants to voluntary organisations in the Edinburgh area which are concerned with the welfare of young people, in particular, through the encouragement of participation in outdoor activities.
In view of the scale of the Trust, grants are made mainly to small voluntary organisations.
In the course of a year the Trust distributes about £20,000 in individual grants ranging from about £500 to about £1,500.
