DESCRIPTION
This project is for the frail and elderly in the Portobello area.
Portobello Older Peoples Project is a small lunch/social club which provides day care for older people from Portobello and the surrounding area.
The aim of the project is to get the older people out of their homes and meet other people. It helps to reduce social isolation and support mental and physical wellbeing by providing lunch and the chance to socialise with others.
The project has a varied programme of activities and outings with the help of volunteers.
