DESCRIPTION
The oldest community run, self-funded childcare facility in the UK.
Established in 1929, Portobello Toddlers Hut playgroup provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to socialise and interact.
The children are recognised as individuals as well as part of the group, and are given the opportunity to learn and develop at their own rate in an environment that is free from prejudice and discrimination. Their development and independence is encouraged through play, activities and experiences.
Portobello Toddlers Hut playgroup provides a service for children from 2.5 to 5 years old. There is a waiting list in operation, children can be added at 2 years old.
Portobello Toddlers Hut is a voluntary non-partner provider service, with 18 children, 3 qualified staff and a parent helper in every session.
There is indoor/outdoor free play and a snack is provided.
Please note that Portobello Toddlers Hut is open only during term time.
