The Centre was formed to provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of society and community needs in Edinburgh. It is a beautiful Victorian Townhouse that boasts rich historical features, a grand staircase and a painted domed ceiling. A resource for the whole community, we welcome people of all religions, or none, to enjoy our magnificent building, for a wide range of activities.
The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre is operated by The Palmerston Trust; a Registered Charity in Scotland. The Centre was formed to provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of society and community needs in Edinburgh. It also became the new home to The Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists in October 2011.
Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End, the Centre is accommodated in the splendid surroundings of an elegant Victorian town house.
The Centre provides excellent facilities for all to have the opportunity to participate in a varied programme of workshops, seminars and worship in a comfortable and inviting venue.
We also offer space for room hire for meetings and events and have a dedicated team who can look after you here at the Centre.
