St Thomas' Church

St Thomas’ is an Anglican (Scottish Episcopal) church in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh and we have been distinctively evangelical throughout our history. We draw our membership from a wide range of denominational backgrounds, have good links with other churches in the area and are an Evangelical Alliance member.

We include an informal style of worship and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.

St Thomas’ church and halls occupy a prominent site on the busy A8 road, which is one of the principal arterial routes out of the west of Edinburgh. We are in a large suburban area, with extensive areas of housing (largely owner-occupied) on 3 sides. On the south side, we have the Gyle Park, a large open space where numerous sporting activities are held through the week. Several areas of new housing are being developed locally. Edinburgh’s prime business park (Edinburgh Park) is within a mile of the church.

How to get there by car:

- From the city centre follow signs for the airport through Corstorphine and past PC World at Drumbrae roundabout. The church is on the left.
- From the bypass go to the Gogar roundabout at the western end of the bypass and follow the signs for the city centre. Go straight on at the Maybury traffic lights, passing a garage on the right, and the church is on the right, before you reach PC World.

How to get there by bus:

A Lothian bus number 31 comes from the city centre and there is a bus stop immediately outside the church. You can view the timetable or download it

Where to park:

Parking directly outside the church is very limited, so we recommend using the car park at the rear of the church when possible. Please be considerate of local residents when parking your vehicle and don't block their driveways.
