Scotland's only long-term outdoor-based personal development course
Venture Scotland offers young people, who are struggling with life and are aged 16-30, a personal development course based in the outdoors. We offer young people four progressive stages, to help them learn how to improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Our programme is open to anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life.
We build the confidence and skills of young people and aim to empower each individual we work with to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
We aim to help disadvantaged young adults in positive decision making and life choices. Through a volunteer led programme in a natural setting, we help people build self-esteem, confidence and trust and independence.
Where we work...
Our programme is run out of two centres in Edinburgh and Glasgow although young people get involved from across the Central Belt of Scotland. Our main base for residentials is a Highland Bothy (mountain hut) in Glen Etive, a stunning location which provides an ideal location to truly be away from it all and focus on self development.
