Our care services are operating as normal.
We want to reassure you that we aim to deliver the best possible care in the current COVID-19 outbreak. In this difficult time, our foremost concerns are the personal health and safety of our customers, families, and our staff. That’s why the government has asked us all to take sensible steps to slow its spread and we are following that advice.

What services can we provide for you?
We are entirely focused on providing personalised and individual services to design a tailored, flexible support package with you and your family.
Our teams are friendly, committed, motivated and trained to the highest level, which ensures the best possible outcomes are achieved for our customers.
Blackwood can provide you with care and support services in your own home from a few hours a week to an around the clock service. We can support you with personal care; with daily living tasks such as laundry, cleaning and shopping; with nutrition and feeding; maintaining your home; attending appointments; assisting you with medication and lots more. Our services really are personalised and we will design a tailored and flexible support package with you and your family.
Currently we provide care services for older people and individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues, sensory impairment and learning disabilities. We also have highly specialist skills in supporting adults with Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia and Huntington's disease.
How much will it cost?
Care with Blackwood costs on average between £15 and £17 per hour.

Will I need to pay for my care?
Your care can be paid in one of two ways:
- You can pay privately from your own income / funds.
- You may be eligible for Local Authority funding for your care and support needs. If you have already spoken to your Local Authority, your funds are in place and you want to talk to us about how Blackwood can help deliver your care and support please contact us on the details below. If you are unsure whether you are eligible for funding please contact your Local Authority.
