The Murrayfield Club is a non registered day care service for people who are 65 years or over. The project is for older adults in the West Edinburgh area. People, mainly over 65, who are frail elderly and/or with early stage dementia. As far as is possible the Murrayfield Club service will accept all equality groups.
The project offers older adults the opportunity to get out of the house and meet others and make friends. The group offers support, friendship, a variety of social activities and a hot lunch. It allows older people to remain longer in the community and enable them to move on to other services as and when appropriate.
