Visiting the supermarket with a trained volunteer for grocery shopping. Support with creating a shopping list and making healthy food choices if requested. Fortnightly or monthly.
We offer 2 types of shopping services for you.
Escorted shopping is one of our trained volunteers coming round the shops with you, helps to give you some freedom in choosing your own food while also getting help carrying your bags which can get heavy!
Sometimes, Volunteers can go to the shops on your behalf if you do not have access to online shopping facilities. Have a list of food that you are needing to give to the volunteer and they will do their best to get everything.
