Welcome to Jim Collins Karate! Lasswade Karate Group was founded in 1979 by Jim Collins 6th Dan who is a former World, European and Commonwealth Champion.
Goodtrees Club meets in the Goodtrees Neighbourhood Centre.
Kids...
There is a karate club for kids only at present and seating is available as is a cafe bar. There is ample free parking in the centre’s car park.
Kids Karate Class: 6:15pm - 7:15pm
Adults...
There is also a ‘Karate Fitness’ class for adults, which takes place following the kids class. Whilst this class is based on basic karate techniques, it is open to anyone. The class is an exciting and fun way to get fit and lose weight. All that is required is normal gym attire and hard work.
Karate Fitness Class: 7:15pm - 8:15pm
Class run by a fully qualified 6 Dan instructor, former World and European Champion
Cost:
Charged at £18.00 per month, with a reduced rate for families
