information SERVICE DETAILS

Women Supporting Women is a local women’s project with a choice of support services including one-to-one sessions, groups, monthly drop-ins and PEEP sessions.

ACTIVITIES:

Chat Cafe...

A place for women of all cultures and backgrounds to relax, meet, chat and learn new things. Build on your English conversational skills, learn about different languages and cultures.

Cook together, children welcome, tea/coffee and snacks provided.

Every Monday, 9:30am - 11:30am @ PCHP.

Knit and natter (Women only)...

Do you enjoy stitching, knitting or crocheting. Come and meet new friends and share your skills. All ages, backgrounds and abilities welcome.

Mondays, 10:00pm - 3:00pm at PCHP.

Outdoor Cooking Club & Community Lunch (Women only)...

Every Wednesday, 12:00pm - 1:30pm and Community Lunch (all welcome!), 2:00pm - 3:00pm @ Granton Community Garden.

Come and eat with your neighbours and celebrate local harvests through the seasons. Children welcome with a responsible adult.

Cooking sessions give women a chance to meet other women, share recipes and experiences, build friendships and boost confidence.

Play Together Outdoor Activities...

Every Thursday, 10:30am - -11:30am @ Granton Hub

Women's Wellbeing in Nature...

Women learning together to enjoy the outdoors: nature trails, natural arts & crafts, tool use, bush-craft skills and mindfulness sessions.

Every Thursday, 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Booking essential!

Support...

We can offer a safe, confidential, flexible service for women who are experiencing isolation, anxiety, emotional or mental health issues, abuse, violence, relationship and family difficulties.

A friendly, accessible member of our team is available to chat with you.

All welcome.

Please phone at least a day in advance if you need to book crèche spaces.
