We all deserve to be safe, happy and healthy in our relationships. It is therefore important that we all know how we can best support young people to achieve this – whether that is by starting the conversation or by creating a safe space for young people to talk about anything that may be on their mind.
The resources below will bring you to a range of toolkits designed by young women and girls for use with young people. There are three conversation starters toolkits – one for parents and carers, one for professionals who work with young people, and one for young people themselves. If you have a young person in your life who you are concerned about we would urge you to have a look at these.
In addition to this, we now have a top tips guide for professionals on how to set up safe spaces for young women and girls. This has been designed primarily with education in mind but can be applied to a range of settings.
Oor Fierce Girls is a youth led campaign for healthy relationships, delivered as part of a partnership between NSPCC Scotland, YWCA Scotland and Dundee City Council. It is part of the wider Young Women Know project.
