If you have a question about living with sight loss, no matter how big or small, we’re here to offer support.
You can call us on 0303 123 9999 anytime from 8:00am-8:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays.
Calls to our Helpline cost no more than a standard rate call to 01 or 02 numbers and count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. The price of calls varies between different service providers, including between landline and mobile companies. Please note that we record all our calls for training and quality purposes. All calls are treated in confidence.

RNIB Info Line – Information that talks
If you would like to hear helpful information on sight loss when our Helpline is closed, call the RNIB Info Line on 0203 432 1488 at any time of the day. It's a recorded information service created for people wanting to know more about sight loss. With our Info Line, you can access spoken information without having to wait in line for an adviser.
If English isn't your first language
We can arrange for interpreting services over the phone, quickly in over 200 languages, so please don’t hesitate in reaching out to us even if English isn’t your first language.
Ask Alexa
You can now ask Alexa to call our Helpline without needing to touch your phone or pairing it to your device. Just say: “Alexa, call RNIB Helpline”. You can read more about how this service works and why we introduced it.
Text relay service
If you have hearing loss, speech difficulties or are Deafblind, you may find it easier to contact our Helpline using a text relay service called Relay UK. It can read aloud your written responses or type your spoken responses.
You can access the Relay UK service via an app on your smartphone or tablet, or through a Textphone (also known as a Minicom or Uniphone).
