What is SLCo Interactive?
SLCo Interactive is a FREE, online resource designed for parents and carers of children and young people with speech, language and communication impairments.
Through funding from the National Carers Organisation, we have developed an online e-learning resource to help parents and carers whilst we expand our local support groups.
SLCo Interactive has a suite of online modules designed to help you understand speech, language and communication needs, and how to support your child more effectively. We understand that it can be stressful to discover your child isn’t talking or is struggling to communicate, and it can be challenging to know where to find information and access support.
SLCo Interactive allows you to go through our modules at your own pace, in a way that suits you. Our key idea for our e-learning programme is to gather together a helpful array of information in a way that guides the student through learning and self-reflection. Parents and carers have the most critical roles in their children’s experiences, and have the potential to have a larger impact than therapists or teachers on the child’s communication journey.
