Support Meetings
Support meetings are a safe space for you to meet and chat with other parents with shared experience. Our meetings are informal and discussions are facilitated by a trained Peer Supporter.
We recognise that just like every parent’s grief is different and unique to them, so is everyone’s journey after their loss. In recognition of this, we provide a range of support meetings to accommodate the individual needs of you and your family to ensure that you have the opportunity to meet and chat with other families who are at a similar stage in their journey.
Group meetings give you the opportunity to meet other families who have been through something similar and who will be able to relate to many of those complex feelings. We understand that the loss of your baby is unique to other losses and you may struggle to find others who understand how you feel.
Grandparents’ Bereavement Support...
Our monthly meetings are open to any grandparents whether the loss of your precious grandchild was recent or longer ago. You are welcome to join with a partner or friend, as we appreciate that joining your first meeting can be daunting. Our meetings are facilitated by a trained Peer Supporter and are relaxed and informal, allowing you the chance to chat or just listen and hopefully make new friends too. There is never any pressure for you to discuss your experience.
