The Craft Café
Who doesn’t love creativity, chat, coffee and cake?
The cafés are safe, welcoming spaces for people to socialise and express their creativity. From painting and drawing to jewellery making and sculpture, our Craft Cafés bridge the gap between care and housing support, creating a vibrant creative space and improving social interaction.
In 2012 we were proud to open the first place in Edinburgh’s that would cater for all these wonderful things.
The Craft Café was set up in an unused Chapel which is attached to St Raphael's. This has become a fantastic place for those wishing to socialise and express their creativity.
Run in partnership with Impact Arts, the Café is open 3 days a week and welcomes all residents, friends and family.
The Café has been a finalist in the Scottish Dementia Awards and Care Accolades.
Opening hours:
The St Raphael's Café is open 3 days a week (Tues - Thurs).
Workshops run from 10:00am - 12:00pm and 1:30pm - 4:00pm.
