Peggy's Café is the street-facing part of The Open Door, right on Morningside's busy high street. It's the place to be if you are looking for a cuppa and a sweet treat, or some tasty home-made food; we have a wide range available using locally sourced products.
Everyone is welcome in our neighbourhood café and service is always with a smile. It's a safe place for all, with friendly and welcoming staff and volunteers who are always ready to chat.
Laughter and Love flow in Peggy's Café. Here you will find friendship, someone to talk to, support and advice.
And, always, great coffee.
You are welcome to use our Wi-Fi.
Pay it Forward...
On the tables in our café you will find a card with the words “Pay it Forward”. Using this you can donate over the counter when you pay your bill. Simply tick an item on the card, eg a meal for one of our Day-Care group members, add the amount to your bill and it will go to the particular item you’ve selected.
