DESCRIPTION
The Open Door is a charity that supports older people, people with poor mental health, carers and others in need.
Our Mission is to reduce isolation and loneliness by providing love, friendship, support, inclusion and a sense of community.
We have been doing this for over forty years.
We provide:
- Day services for older adults - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - both council funded, Self-Directed Support and private places.
- A popular neighbourhood café that is open to all - 5 days a week
- A Community centre for everyone
- Room space for hire
- Fully supported volunteer opportunities
