ECF provide and deliver accredited training courses and learning opportunities for staff and volunteers who work with food and health.
REHIS Courses ECF is a certificated centre for REHIS (The Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland).

REHIS Food Hygiene...
A professionally and nationally recognised certificated course which provides training in the principles and practices of good food hygiene. This interesting and useful course is designed for all food handlers working or volunteering in a catering environment.
Cost
Places on our courses are competitively priced at £45 per person, including course materials, a certificate on successful completion of the course and - if necessary - one resit.

REHIS Food and Health...
Elementary Food & Health is a nationally recognised seven hour course which provides training in the principles of good nutrition and getting a healthy, balanced diet. Our highly qualified team of friendly and approachable Association for Nutrition-registered Nutritionists have wide experience of delivering REHIS training to people from different backgrounds and all levels of experience.

REHIS Eating Well for Older People...
The REHIS Eating Well for Older People is a certificated, non-examined course that aims to provide participants with the knowledge and appreciation of the importance of good nutrition for older people and how to support them to eat well.
The course is non-clinical* and would be suitable for older people, (kinship) carers or anyone working with older people. It is packed with clear information that aims to cut through all the mixed messages around nutrition and offers many practical tips for supporting older people to eat well, including those with dementia.

REHIS Allergy Awareness...
The Food Allergy Awareness Training Course* is a professionally and nationally recognised certificated course which aims to raise awareness of issues around allergies, coeliac disease & intolerances and of how to cater for sufferers in a variety of contexts. It is now a legal requirement** that caterers provide correct information about what is in food to consumers and this interesting and useful course, delivered by our highly experienced trainers, is suitable for all who work in the provision of food.
Cost
Places on our courses are competitively priced at £50 per person, including tea and coffee, course materials, a certificate on successful completion of the course and - if necessary - one resit.
REHIS Food and Health for Carers of Adults with a Learning Disability...
REHIS Food & Health is a nationally recognised certificated course on the principles of good nutrition and getting a healthy, balanced diet for carers of adults with a learning disability. Our highly qualified team of friendly and approachable Associate Nutritionists & Registered Dietitians have wide experience of delivering REHIS training to people from different backgrounds and all levels of experience. This interesting and useful course is packed with clearly delivered information that aims to cut through all the mixed messages around nutrition.
