The Walled Garden was the subject of a substantial Heritage Lottery Funding grant and remains our most exciting project to date.
There was an official Opening Celebration in May 2014 at which Edinburgh politicians and the press were present.
The Walled Garden has been the site of several community projects and Friends' events. These have resulted in the raised beds at the bottom of the Garden, the wonderful painted animals and birds, the slate plant labels among other things.
Four years on the Walled Garden has matured wonderfully.
It is maintained by a small team of volunteers who work in the Garden every week. If you are interested in joining them please email the Friends at enquiries@fohb.org.
