DESCRIPTION
The Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation (EHC) is a warm and vibrant Jewish community based in the political and commercial capital of Scotland and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. EHC is a mainstream Orthodox congregation under the auspices of the Chief Rabbi. It is committed to providing a welcoming traditional environment for the Jews of Edinburgh and its environs.
Within our community there are numerous organisations and societies which provide a diverse range of activities for the Jewish population of Edinburgh.
The synagogue itself, and the community centre, which is located in the same building, form the principle focus for Jewish communal life in Edinburgh.
