Edinburgh Leisure's Active Communities programme supports around 10,000 people a year to get active to improve their health and wellbeing.
Keeping active during the Coronavirus pandemic brings many benefits for your physical and mental health. However, has been made difficult by various restrictions impacting on services and encouraging us to stay at home as much as possible to limit contact with others.
We are delighted that the First Minister's announcement on 11th May means that we can look to bring back a number of our Active Communities Programmes safely. We will continue to offer a range of online, phone and restarting our actual programmes at the moment and our teams are contacting all participants to let them know what is currently, and what will be on offer.
