DESCRIPTION
Forth Bridges Men’s Shed's aim is to provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well being of men of all ages and backgrounds living in Queensferry, Kirkliston and surrounding areas.
We provide a community space in and around South Queensferry and Kirkliston for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for men to enjoy together. It helps reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, to have fun, meet friends, be creative, or "Just dae somethin'".
We are now an established shed with a Social Hub based at School Lane in Queensferry and a developing workshop based at Hallyards Farm in Kirkliston, near Edinburgh Airport.
We often use the shorthand abbreviated name of FBMS for convenience.
