The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

IMPORTANT

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Details
If you wish to apply for Housing in Edinburgh you will need to complete an application form at http://keytochoice.scotsman.com/. Alternatively, printed forms are available from Viewpoint Head Office or the City of Edinburgh Council.

Edindex applicants can bid for up to three properties each week by completing a note of interest form printed in the newspaper, or via the website. The bids will be ordered so that those in medical need are given the greatest priority, followed by those who are homeless, living in overcrowded accommodation or who are under-occupying properties. After that bidders are listed in order of who has lived in their property the longest.

If you are successful, you will be contacted and invited to view the empty property. If you are unsuccessful you can keep bidding until you are contacted.
