The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Phoenix Arts offers arts and crafts activities for adults, in a relaxed and sociable environment.

We currently run an arts and crafts group at Currie High School (Art Room 1) on Thursday evenings during term time.

Sessions cost £35.00 for a ten week term (or £5.00 per week if paid on the night) and include all materials and refreshments.

We aim to keep prices to a minimum so that no-one is put off joining the group for financial reasons.

- All materials and refreshments (tea / coffee and cake) are included in the cost.
- The group is very relaxed, friendly and always happy to welcome new members.
- No artistic skill or experience is required, we believe that everyone has the ability to be creative (and the social aspect is just as important as the activities themselves).

We tackle a wide variety of projects, including:

- Decoupage
- Jewellery Making
- Glass Painting
- Drawing & Painting
- Sewing
- Booklet Making Miniature Making Felting
- Fabric Printing
- Peg Doll Making
- Paper Crafts
- Mini Mosaics

New members are welcome to join at any time.
