The Edinburgh South Cricket Club Women’s Team was established in spring 2017.
We are made up of a mixture of seasoned cricketers, childhood fans reconnecting with the game and absolute first time players. The group is as welcoming and enthusiastic as it is diverse, and we are looking for more people to join us! Whether you are looking for a new challenge, an alternative summer sport or a way get active, social and enjoy the summer, Edinburgh South Women have plenty to offer.
We train weekly (including indoor sessions through the winter) and compete in the East of Scotland Women's Development league (summer) and Cricket Scotland's Wee Bash League (indoor, winter).
Training is lead by a coach and aims to introduce and develop cricket (and sports) skills for players of all levels.

Whether you are a seasoned cricketer, used to play in your back-garden or are just interested in giving something new a go...come join us!
We currently train every Tuesday (weather permitting) at Inch Park Community Sports Club from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
You can just come along; no experience or equipment required as it is all provided.
Membership...
We strongly recommend anyone interested in playing for the club signs up to become a member. As a volunteer-led, not-for-profit community sports team, membership fees play a critical role in ensuring that we can continue to be an open and welcoming club who helps foster the sprit of cricket for those of all ages, genders, races and backgrounds.
Women's section – £125
However, we understand that such a commitment isn't suitable for everyone for a number of reasons. Therefore we offer a pay-as-you-play non-members option to those who choose it.
Pay-as-you-play: £10 student/member of women’s section
Should a pay-as-you-play member end up playing so many fixtures that they have contributed in excess of their relevant membership fee, club membership will be granted as a gesture of goodwill.
