The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Our new Community Action Project broadens the programme for older LGBT people to explore issues affecting their lives and get more involved in their local community.

It will host events and conversations to identify issues, concerns and aspirations that are important to us as we get older and we will work to develop projects and resources that raise our voice and help shape our future.

The Age Reference Group (Glasgow)

A forum of LGBT people aged 50 and over who come together to explore the issues affecting us as we age. A platform for the voices of older LGBT people who often remain invisible from mainstream narratives around ageing, but also within the wider LGBT community.

The Age Reference Group guides and supports the work of our Community Action Project for LGBT people aged 50 and over to get involved in their community and take actions to reduce social isolation, end discrimination, raise awareness and improve services.
