In-Court Advice Service...

Where appropriate, CAE's In-Court Advice Service assists to resolve matters without the need for Court action. The CAE In-Court Adviser and Caseworker can guide clients through the Court process for Simple Procedure - formerly Small Claims/Summary Cause cases and Time to Pay applications. They can do this by helping you to complete Simple Procedure forms, explaining legal terms and helping you to prepare and present your case.
In exceptional circumstances, court representation may be offered.

Mediation Service...
Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
CAE's mediation service is free to Simple Procedure (formerly Small Claims and Summary Cause) cases. Mediation is a voluntary form of dispute resolution where both parties must agree to attend. Cases can be self-referred to mediation prior to the first calling date, or the case may be referred at a later date by a Sheriff. Mediation can assist parties to resolve disputes which could save both money and further time spent in court.
