Secure Exercise Runs
Does your dog like to run free off-lead but lacks good recall? Or perhaps your dog is nervous or anxious in public spaces, or wary of other dogs? Maybe you would just like to have a secure space to exercise your dog without worrying about them interacting with other members of the public?
Look no further than Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home’s Paddocks by the Prom
We have three high quality and secure exercise paddocks designed specifically with dogs in mind, right on the scenic Seafield promenade, just along from Portobello.
Our paddocks are available seven days per week between the hours of 9am-4pm. Half hour slots are available throughout the day and multiple slots can be booked for those who need more time for their dog(s).
Large Paddock...
Our large paddock is the perfect space for up to six dogs at a time, making it a favourite for dog walkers and those with dogs who like to run, run, run!
With over an acre of grass covered land, complementary professional agility equipment, and a view of the sea, you and your furry pals will love running and playing with us.
Small Paddocks...
Our small paddocks are over 120 square meters in size and the perfect space for up to three dogs looking to have a good time running around on our premium AstroTurf with a view of the sea. When it all gets too much and they need a cool down, fill up the paddling pool and enjoy a break.
Bookings
Bookings for our Paddocks by the Prom must be made in advance online via our booking page at https://edch.org.uk/paddocks. Terms and conditions for this service can also be found on this page.
All profits made from this service goes directly towards supporting the Home’s mission to rescue, reunite and rehome stray, lost and abandoned dogs and cats, supporting vulnerable pet owners in need and our animal welfare education community outreach programme.
