In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

The Association has a Tenants’ Forum that meets quarterly to discuss issues of interest. Typical topics of discussion have included:

- Annual rent increase
- Tenant participation strategy
- Planned maintenance programme

We also occasionally invite speakers from other organisations to attend to talk to Forum members.

The Forum meetings are very informal and there is a relaxed atmosphere with everyone getting the opportunity to put forward their views. We can arrange assistance with transport and carers’ costs.

So far the Forum meetings have been held in the Association’s office but we are currently looking at using alternative venues to encourage more people to attend.
