Volunteering is a great way to give something back to your local community and a little bit of your time would really help Dads Rock in a range of ways.
The sorts of things we need help with include:
Perinatal peer support volunteers - following training you will be matched with a new Dad/Dad-to-be, to support on a 1:1 basis, building a trusting relationship and reducing social isolation (more information here)
- Volunteer music tutors - Guitar, Drums, Bass and Vocals
- Marketing support eg SEO, Analytics, writing blogs, social media
- Supporting our fundraising team by researching funding and partnership opportunities
- Leaflet distribution - taking our latest leaflet/poster out into the community - we provide the list!
- Assistance running events and trips
- Help with fundraising (eg bag packs or collections)
- Supporting our fundraising manager with applications
- Office admin
- Assisting with playgroups (eg run an art activity or game, preparing snacks, take photos for marketing)
- Providing skills sessions for young dads (eg budgeting or cooking)
- Sorting and refurbishing play equipment and toys
