DESCRIPTION
IMPROVING OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN BY INSPIRING DADS AND FAMILIES
Our overall aim is to improve outcomes for children in Scotland to ensure the best start in life by providing support to Dads and families.
We do this through:
- Dad Groups
- Parenting Workshops
- Young Dads
- Music Tuition
- P.S. Dads Rock
CHAMPIONING DADS
We are part of the social change that needs to happen. We attend conferences to talk about the importance of fathers, and to talk about the small steps organisations can take that will make a difference. We feed into local and national policy on parenting. We have contributed to national policy making, by being members of The Scottish Government's National Father's Advisory Board, as well as the Scottish Parliament Cross Party on Shared Parenting. We need societal change for the sake of our children, but also for the sake of all our Dads, we want all of our Dads to feel supported and valued.
