Peer Support Volunteer...

We would like to meet people who live with bipolar disorder and who have reached the point that they are managing their bipolar well. If you would like to spend a little of your time helping someone who has recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, then we would like to hear from you. You could be part of our innovative new service, using your lived experience to offer emotional and practical support to someone who has been recently diagnosed.

Send your application form or any questions you have to nigel.lack@bipolarscotland.org.uk.

Group Facilitator...

Our Self-Help Groups are a chance for people living with bipolar to meet up and talk about issues affecting them and receive support and guidance from each other. The role of group facilitator will include welcoming people, encouraging and guiding discussion, as well as dealing sensitively with issues or conflict that may arise within the group meeting. There are two facilitators per group and one is responsible for collating and reporting group statistics after each meeting, whilst the other facilitator takes the lead for booking guest speakers.

Send your application form or any questions you may have to majam@bipolarscotland.org.uk.

Fundraising Assistant...

Fundraising Volunteers will work with our small and friendly fundraising team helping to raise vital funds for those living with Bipolar. As a fundraising volunteer your duties could include assisting with administrative work, organising and attending events, completing small funding applications , seeking new funding opportunities and building and maintaining effective relationships. If this sounds like the role for you then please get in touch. No experience is necessary , you just have to have a passion for making a difference and changing peoples lives. Full training will be provided.

Send your application form or any questions you may have to ashleym@bipolarscotland.org.uk.
