Gaining the skills and confidence that will help you get a job in the future is an important part of growing up.
Every young person deserves the chance to develop these skills and discover their talents and ambitions.
Every day, ENABLE Works supports young people who have a learning disability to try out different jobs and gain new skills and experience.
Our development programmes are all about getting young people ready for work – with support every step of the way.
Our team will get to know you, help you decide on the type of work you want to do, and support you to find the job that’s right for you.
ENABLE Works is a specialist employability service, working across 21 Scottish local authorities and supporting over 1,500 people who have a learning disability each year.
We work with a variety of partners to support people from school into adulthood, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to find and keep a job.
We offer a series of different programmes – including work tasters – designed to work with people at school, at college, through training and into work.
Our team is here to support both individuals and employers.
Every day, we help employers to discover team members who bring a range of skills and talents to their workplace. We also provide specialist training throughout the transition and ensure that the work environment meets the needs of the individual.
