Am I a carer? People can become a Carer at every stage of our lives. Most caregivers are unaware of what support and help is available to them.
A Carer is a person who provides unpaid care to a family member, partner, relative or friend. Persons requiring assistance may be of different ages and their needs depend on the disorder with which they face today, disability, health problems physical, mental or with various types of addictions.
Being a caregiver can affect us and our lives in various ways. Regardless of whether the care of another person by choice or compulsion, this situation can have a huge impact on our lives. As a rule, caregivers do not have any professional training that might facilitate their care for the closest person in need. This care is carried out by trial and error. Being a caregiver can be both very rewarding and cause us a lot of stress and worry.
