SERVICE DETAILS
As part of our regular programme, we also rent our rooms to the public for parties, ceilidhs, groups and classes, subject to availability. We require a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice to process requests, as all bookings must go through the Centre’s Management Committee meetings which meet once a month so please ensure your dates are far enough in advance before making an enquiry.
Room 1...
(Size 24’8″ x 26’3″)
A multipurpose room that can be used for meetings, small conferences, drama classes, language classes and children’s groups. Accommodates 36 people with tables and flexible seating arrangements as required in rows.
Room 2...
(Size 24′ 8″ x 16′ 5″)
Mainly used for meetings or classes and has a capacity of up to 16 people with tables, and 20-25 without tables. Although there is no permanent equipment in this room, we can provide a projector and screen upon early request.
Café
The Café is available for hire outside café operating hours (currently Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 2:00pm) and can be used for meetings and activities like social gatherings, playing card games.
The café can accommodate 50 café style chairs, and 10 café style round tables.
Main Hall...
(Size 52′ x 50′)
On the first floor, the Main Hall can be used for conferences, events, wedding receptions, graduations, concerts, dances, birthday parties and a variety of games and sports. Some sports equipment can be provided, just enquire to confirm availability. Fixed tiered bench seating at the back of the Main Hall will accommodate around 150 - 200 people.
Floor space can accommodate up to 200 people with seating/function tables or 300 people standing
Some of the equipment we have for you to use, upon early reservation (subject to availability):
- Urns for teas and coffees
- Projector & Screen
- Mobile PA Speaker with two wireless mics
- Tables and Chairs
Additionally in the hall, we have sports equipment like basketball hoops, gym mats, yoga mats, badminton nets + rackets and lots more.
(We do not supply cups, spoons and tea, coffee or milk – please bring your own. There are plenty of shops across the street for supplies should you need them).
