OUR WELLBEING…
We all know about the benefits of looking after out physical health with things like good food, 30 minutes of daily exercise, plenty of water, and going to bed at the right time.
More recently, our emotional health is starting to be talked about much more too, and lots of us are struggling to look after our emotional health. But we can’t have total wellbeing without making sure we take care of both our physical and our mental health.
Being well does not just mean the absence of disease. It also means meeting our basic human needs such as connection to nature, love and belonging, meaning and purpose, self-worth, creativity, learning, laughter.
We need to find the things that bring us joy and make us feel good, and do more of them.
The Ripple runs an 8 week group work course to improve your wellbeing, we look at different weekly topics such as:
- Understanding stress and anxiety
- Challenging negative thinking patterns
- Mindfulness, sleep, nutrition, building resilience
- Connection to nature
and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
