The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Enjoy a relaxed and friendly church service with modern worship and relevant talks. Bring the family on a Sunday morning and you'll find groups for all ages.

Come to our main services at 10.30am in Balerno

Join around 400 people at Balerno High School for our main morning services which combine contemporary worship and a talk, based on the Bible and focused on contemporary issues.

Groups for children and young people happen alongside the main services. You’ll find child care for babies, and fun, relevant programmes for children and young people including games, crafts, music, teaching and chat.

There’s tea and coffee, served by 12:00pm and many people stay to chat – but you don’t have to!

Or try out the 6:30pm service

Even more informal than the morning, our weekly evening event features vibrant worship, relevant Bible teaching and time to be prayed for. Hot drinks are served from 6:00pm in the main concourse.

Join the early service at 8:45am

This traditional Holy Communion service is smaller and quieter. It takes place in the St Mungo’s church building in Balerno and includes Anglican liturgy and hymns. Tea and coffee served afterwards.
