Guid Blethers has become an extremely popular event in our Church's calendar. It is geared for older people, some with early stage dementia. Those attending are from both church and community.
It offers an opportunity to make new friends, share stories, exchange ideas and views, and take a little trip down memory lane. A most enjoyable afternoon with lots of guid blethers over tea and cake!
Social Activities include:
- Guest speakers
- Reminiscence
- Varied topics for discussion
- Outings
The group meets on the first and the third Monday of each month from October until June. Len, Margaret and Audrey will be providing a variety of topics, supported by photographs, the computer and guid blether. If you know of anyone who might enjoy joining the group, let them know and bring them along. And if there is any topic you would like to blether about, please let us know. We look forward to seeing old faces and new faces.
