The Scrabble Club will be restarting on Tuesday 5th April.
We are an informal group who enjoy playing Scrabble. There are dictionaries to be consulted on each table of four.
We have a lot of laughs. Tea/coffee and biscuits are available at half-time with an opportunity to catch up on news and views.
The Scrabble Club runs on Tuesdays from April September in the Small Hall 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
There are twelve regular members and some of us come along to enjoy a nice soup lunch at Polwarth’s Pop Up Café in the Small Hall before a meeting. The café is open from 10:00am until 1:30pm.
Membership of the Scrabble Club is split between members of Polwarth Church and others (some of who attend different churches). The Club was established about seven years ago. It is a relaxed club playing SOCIAL SCRABBLE. This means we use dictionaries as and when we wish. Each table has a refreshment stop at a suitable time.
The group enjoy the friendly but competitive game of scrabble. This is an excellent way to keep the mind active and socialise with friends new and old.
New members always welcome. Why not come and give us a try?
