Sometimes life can be a real challenge and this can have an impact on your health and wellbeing. Mental health problems are extremely common – it is estimated that 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives. Yet so many of us still view these illnesses as a weakness or a personal failure.
At B healthy together we aim to help people in our community understand the impact that being active, eating well, reducing stress, connecting with others and having fun can all impact on our mental health and wellbeing.
We currently run activities such as mindfulness sessions to help reduce stress and are developing workshops for later in the year; watch this space!
Whinpark Community Garden...
Would you like to spend some time relaxing, gardening and meeting some nice friendly folk, and maybe take home something fresh to eat?
Then why not come along to the Whinpark Community Garden on Mondays, 11:00am - 12:00pm (March to November).
No experience necessary.
Come for a relaxing garden session and help keep this community space beautiful and productive:
