In 2014 - 2015, 23.3 million days were lost to British organisations and business through work related ill health, costing employers £2.8 billion. Stress, depression, anxiety & musculoskeletal disorders accounted for the majority of days lost due to work related illness. The average days lost per person for stress, depression, or anxiety was 23 and for musculoskeletal disorders was 17.
